Conemaugh Memorial shifts vaccine registration to MyChart, designated phoneline

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center has a new way for you to register for the COVID-19 vaccine. The service is through the healthcare system’s free online service called MyChart. If you're an existing patient with Memorial, you may already have a MyChart account. If you do not have a MyChart account, you can register for one at MyChart.Conemaugh.org. If you meet eligibility requirements, officials at the health system say your MyChart account will notify you when a vaccination appointment is available.

Investigation underway after individual found dead in Clymer Borough, PSP says

Indiana County, PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Indiana County say an investigation is underway after an individual was found dead Wednesday afternoon in Clymer Borough. Troopers say officials responded to the area of Oak Ave., just before 3 p.m., for a report of a deceased person. Police say foul play is not suspected and authorities are working to notify the individual's next-of-kin. The cause and manner of death will be determined by Indiana County coroner Jerry Overman Jr.

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (WPEC) — A Florida driver found herself on the fast track to jail late Thursday night after a police officer reported seeing her going triple-digit speeds. Naked man causes disturbance in Clearfield County

CURWENSVILLE – A 35-year-old Clearfield County man faces multiple charges after he was seen walking naked through downtown and was taken into custody. State police in Clearfield said they received a report of a man throwing items out a window Monday afternoon at a house on the corner of State and Thompson streets. Police later received several calls about the man walking naked on State Street. Before police arrived, they said the man entered several businesses and damaged personal property.

Nanty Glo church begins rebuilding after fire

NANTY GLO – There will eventually be a new look, and a new home, for parishioners of a church in Nanty Glo borough. Nearly two years after a fire ripped through First Baptist Church in Nanty Glo, pastor Gino Bartoletti said the congregation is in the first stages of rebuilding the church. “I had never experienced anything like this. Most pastors never do,” Bartoletti said. “When you lose your building, when it’s 102 years old at the time of fire, it’s a whole change.
