CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities in Cambria County say an Elmora man is facing sexual assault charges for allegedly abusing a young girl over multiple years. According to a probable-cause affidavit, 36-year-old Robert Hook Jr. reportedly began sexually assaulting the girl in 2021, when she was 11 or 12 years old. The girl told police that the abuse occurred on a weekly basis and ended in May or June of 2023, according to the affidavit.

ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — Logan Township police are looking for three individuals they said were involved in the theft of $16,000 worth of jewelry. Police said two men entered the Macy’s department store at the Logan Valley Mall Tuesday and asked to see diamond bracelets from the jewelry counter. One of the men was described as Hispanic with short facial hair wearing dark clothes; the other is black with dreadlocks or braids in his hair wearing a dark hoodie, according to police.

Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — Police say an Altoona man has been charged with stealing an estimated $2 million from a former relative. Police say last February, 29-year-old Andrew Booker reported that a safe containing the money was stolen from his 21st Avenue home during a burglary. Police determined that Booker staged the burglary and had spent more than one-hundred-forty-thousand dollars of the cash from May until August. Authorities note that much of the remainder of the money has yet to be recovered.
