BALASORE, India (AP) — Rescuers found no more survivors in the overturned and mangled wreckage of two passenger trains that derailed in eastern India, killing more than 280 people and injuring hundreds in one of the country's deadliest rail crashes in decades, officials said Saturday. Chaotic scenes erupted on Friday night as rescuers climbed atop the wrecked trains to break open doors and windows using cutting torches. The death toll rose steadily throughout the night.

State police are investigating after one person was pronounced dead as the result of a vehicle accident in Berks County Thursday evening, a press release states. Court dockets show Clemens has been charged with one felony count of robbery with threat of immediate serious injury, one felony count of aggravated assault with attempt to cause serious bodily injury, one felony count of aggravated assault with attempt to cause bodily injury with a deadly weapon, one count of terroristic threats with intent to terrorize, one count of possession of an instrument of crime with intent and one count of simple assault.

MOUNT UNION, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities say a 25-year-old man faces charges of attempted homicide following an incident in Mount Union Borough Thursday morning, according to a criminal complaint. Troopers say Talen Trice faces charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault and arson after he reportedly stabbed and burned another man. The complaint states that around 8:45 a.m. Thursday, troopers were dispatched to North Division Street, near Mount Union High School, for a report of a single-vehicle crash and fire.

Three misdemeanor charges were filed Monday against the son of Philadelphia Flyers interim general manager Danny Briere after a video posted on social media showed him and another Mercyhurst University athlete pushing an unoccupied wheelchair down a staircase.
