Cambria County drug store to close its doors

A local drug store is set to close its doors later this month. Westmont Rexall will be closing at the end of May after 71 years in business. Owner Mike Gnagy says the store gets good business, but insurance is the reason for the closure, saying the cost of reimbursement is just too high. West Hills Beer and Soda, which is located nearby, will be moving into the space and Gnagy says hopefully the lottery portion of the drug store will remain as part of the beer distributor.

Stump Creek awarded $2.6 million to replace water system

Jefferson County, PA — Stump Creek Village in Jefferson County is being awarded $2.6 million to replace their entire water system. This money is coming from the Department of Community & Economic Development's Block Grant Program. Crash causes gas leak in Upper Yoder Township

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Authorities are investigating a crash that resulted in a gas leak in Upper Yoder Township. Upper Yoder police say the crash happened Tuesday afternoon along Goucher Street near Keppler Drive. Goucher Street was temporarily closed while crews worked to contain the leak.
