PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (WJLA) — Traffic was backed up on a busy highway near Washington, D.C. after a helicopter fell off a semi that was transporting it to a new location. A privately-owned helicopter that was being hauled along I-495 slipped off the transport vehicle as it traveled down the road, briefly closing a merge lane and shoulder. A spokesperson with Prince George's County Fire Department said no units were dispatched.

TAMPA, Fla. (WPEC) — A woman was arrested after a two-year-old in her care died from severe neglect, according to the medical examiner's office. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) said deputies responded to an emergency call in Tampa after dispatch told deputies there was a child in distress. When deputies arrived at the scene, the toddler was located but later pronounced dead. When conducting the initial investigation, it was discovered that the child had sustained injuries to several parts of its body.

Cameron County, PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Cameron County have charged an Emporium man after he allegedly pulled a gun on another individual during an altercation at the scene of a crash earlier this week. Police say on Monday, around 11 p.m., troopers were responding to a vehicle crash along West Allegany Ave. when they received a report that one of the individuals on scene has brandished a weapon.
